CheckMath is a service (in the form of app) that reads and provides feedback on the mathematical problems from the camera of your mobile device in real time. CheckMath is a product owned solely by CheckMath SARL-S, referred herewith as “CheckMath”, “we,” “us”, “our”.

that is a data controller for the purpose of the GDPR and other relevant laws. We are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy rights of its users and clients. This Privacy Policy (in combination with out Terms and Conditions, available at ABC) applies to the CheckMath mobile and tablet application (the "Application"), the official CheckMath website(s) with its subdomains (the "Site") and other services offered under the name of CheckMath (collective the "Services"). The Privacy Policy governs the basis on which any and every personal data we collect from you or is provided to us that is handled by Services.

In this Privacy Policy, the term "personal data" is used to define any information that relates to an identifiable or earlier identified natural person(s). We undertake the responsibility to complying with data protection and privacy laws that are applicable to us. This Privacy Policy documents the safeguards in place to protect Users privacy and details the personal data processed by us. It must be noted that this Privacy Policy applies only to the personal data we process when our Services are used. It does not apply towards any other third party services that maybe available when using our Services. We are in no manner responsible for the privacy practices of any third parties. By using the Services, you accept the privacy practices mentioned in this Privacy Policy applicable on your data.

Collectable Information

The use of our Services allow us to collect and process the following types of personal data from you:

1. Data provides explicitly by you: We collect information that is provided to us while using our Services. This collection information may consist of personal data such as (i) images and text you send for the purpose of providing feedback; (ii) Your email address, if you choose to share it; (iii) Your username and other profile features added in future when registering for an account; (iv) Any other information provided as part of the Service; (v) Correspondence (electronic or physical) if you choose to contact us for support or feedback.

2. Location data: We may collect, use and share location data with respect to your use of the Services. This may consist of IP address or WiFi signals. The location information maybe used as part of certain features of the Services such as geographical leaderboards. By using the Services, you consent to the collection of such location information.

3. Usage data: We collect information on the ways you utilize our Services, such as how long you spend on certain parts of the Service. This information will be used to understand how users use our Service and how it can be improved. Further information such as in-app purchases, history of math problems, may also be collected. Such information might be stored on Service servers.

4. Device data: We collect information about the device you used for accessing our Service including the model, operating system, IP address and MAC address.

5. Media taken via camera: Our Service uses images taken with the device camera through the app. These images are transmitted to our Service servers and stored for further improvement of the Service. These images are unlinked from your userid or other identifiable information before storing.

6. Analytics log: We use methods such as cookies, anonymous unique identifiers, crash logs and scripts to analyze trends, administrate the Service, enable additional features on Service and gather statistical information about the usage of the Services. We use technologies provided by third parties that allow leveraging such technological features.

7. Traffic routing: Our Services may use third-party services for network optimization and distribution. These third-party service providers may collect additional data which is under the provision of their own privacy policies.

Collected Data Usage

We use the personal data you provide for the different purpose including:

1. Setup and maintain your registration with the Service, if you chose to register and if you are legally allowed to undertake such registration;

2. To manage and provide features available in the Service;

3. To communicate with you;

4. To facilitate and process any in-app purchase you my make in the Service;

5. To protect our rights and to prevent misuse;

6. To perform market research and improve our products and services.

Data Disclosure

We do not sell, lease, rent or otherwise provide access to the personal data related to our users to third parties unless stated otherwise. We may disclose or be required to disclose personal data you provided to the Service with certain categories of third parties including service providers including data storage service providers that allow us to provide the Service to you; to public authorities including law enforcement if we are legally required to do or if we are required to protect our rights; to our technology partners such as vision recognization partners; and to third parties where required by law.

Users (Your) Rights

The Privacy Policy grants you the following rights with respect to the personal data we hold about you:

2. The right to delete any of your personal information the Service may have collected.

For invoking your rights including requesting data we may have about you or to request delete any and all personal information the Service has, you need to reach the Data Office mentioned earlier

Data Security

We undertake reasonable measures to protect personal data about you against unauthorized access or against misuse, loss or alteration by unintended parties. Despite these efforts to securely store the personal data collected in and via the Service in a secure environment that is not available to public, we cannot guarantee the security of personal data during its transmission or its storage on the Service systems. Additionally, we undertake an attempt to ensure the integrity and security of personal data but it cannot be guarantee that our security measures will prevent malicious actors from illegally obtaining access to personal data. We do not provide guarantee that personal data about you will be protected against loss, misuse and alteration by third party.

Transfer of Personal Data

Elements of the Services maybe hosted on servers located in countries outside of your country. The laws applicable for the protection of personal data in such countries maybe different from those application in your home country. It should be noted that your personal data that is collected by us is transferred to European Union / European Economic Area where the Service storage is located. You consent to personal data about you being transferred outside your own country and be applicable towards the European Union / European Economic Area Privacy Laws (GDPR).

To support the Application, we work with Google as a third party advertising network (referred, "Advertising Service Provider"). This Advertising Service Provider collects and uses personal data about your visits to and use of the mobile application, as well as other websites to serve you with advertisement and content tailored to your preferences and likely interests or better understand ad effectiveness. Users may use their mobile device settings to make a choice about the collection of data for online advertisement that does not prevent display of all advertisement to you.

Updates to the Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy maybe amended or update from time to time. The changes proposed towards the policy will be referred in a section named "Last Updated" at the top of the Privacy Policy page. You are invited to periodically review the Privacy Policy to be informed about changes towards your privacy rights and our privacy practices. Your continued use of the Service following any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes towards your acceptance of any changes made.
